We watched rays jump
We watched Chris and friends sail "Hiolani" through the anchorage.
More beautiful sunrises.Watched a sailing trawler sail into the bay, then motor into the anchorage.A first...
Another flash from the past!
Mark and Kathy on "Lisa Marie" came in for a night.
We hadn't seen them since 2000!
And for some lame reason, I never took any pictures of them up close...
Jim tried to feed a begging pelican some freezer burnt dorado.Picky, picky pelican spit most of it out...
Then another flash from the past!
David Kaye, or "Mexico Dave" as some of you know him, was in the area and visited for a couple of days.Complete with coconuts...
He was on his way slowly from Canada back to his boat in Hualtulco.
We enjoyed one night in the outer anchorage with him.
And one night in the inner anchorage
Sent him on his merry way and back to the regular scheduled programming once again.

You are having such a fantastic season.
I love your world.
Oh, Heather, thank you for the picture of the outer anchorage. It has made me cry because that is exactly "one particular harbor" for me. I loved the outer anchorage the best even when we had to use two anchors. It is the best. And the snorkeling there! Wow! Once our whole boat was enveloped by yellow tail tuna and I swam with them. A miracle!
Wow, Mexico Dave and Lisa Marie....itty bitty ocean. Are you certain it was Mark and Kathy?
Last summer in St. T, I got to see a ray jump, launch... whatever it is they do, I wasn't sure what I had seen and I told Jolea.... 'something just flew out of the water and then went back in... something pretty big' she laughed at me (must have been that confused look on my face) and said it was probably a ray.
I want to go snorkeling again so bad.
Yes it was Mark and Kathy, I know because I went aboard their boat for a visit! You should see the house they have now... whoa! Out at the end of Punta Santiago - one of those places you would see in a travel magazine!
Heather, if you get to see Mark and Kathy, please do tell the hello from us. We enjoyed our time with them so much in PV. We met them the year that they bought the house near Manzanillo. We never got a chance to go down there and visit. They are such nice folks.
