Looking for a Catamaran Cruising Blog?

If you found this blog via a link from a cruising site ~ we did cruise Mexico on our Ocean 49 cat for a season. See the first text box on the right for links to our preparations, trip down Baja, life in Mexico, cruising and trip back up to SoCal. Unfortunately we are back to the grind in the USA...

Party for "Eyes of The Squirrels World"

This actually took place eons weeks ago.

A party for Rick and Karen who were visiting from Puerto Vallarta.
So any excuse for a party the best way for them to be able to see everyone ~ a party!

First of all, only a boater would dress this way...

No one living in a house would go out in public dressed like that.

Loads of people.
Loads of food.
Loads of vino.

Loads of people who either have been cruising, are going cruising or are still cruising.Peggy, Rick, Little Lovely Lucy Lowe, Karen, Tony in the background, Jim C., Wally, Linda, Jim D. and me!
G dock in Ventura West has the award for most cruisers.
Not that we are G-dockers anymore...
We are Anchors Way Marina private dock crane slippers!

But what a great group of people!

This picture was taken for Trouble Alex & Sue on "Maitairoa"...Tony, Peggy, Heather & Jim!
Someday the caption to a picture will be:
Tony, Peggy, Trouble Alex, Sue, Double Trouble Heather & Jim.
Can't wait for that one.
But it can't happen on a school night...

LOL I was just thinking, 'I bet Meerkat's new blog post is about a party', and lo and behold, it was.
You guys are my heros!

And I was just thinking that Overboard's new post would be about Bailey's, and lo and behold, it was! You are our hero :)
Happy to see you back after your Utah trip. Go on the Vancouver trip! Then swing thru SoCal...

Hey! My best friend Will just moved to Puerto Vallarta! Tell your friends if they need a hand on the boat or just a sailing buddy (I assume they have a boat) Will is a great sailor and has no friends yet! :) Holler at me on Facebook or something!

Any excuse, eh?

No one living in a house would go out in public dressed like that. I feel I must take umbrage with this statement of yours. I live in a house and I consider his state of apparel to be horridly overdressed for any occasion.

Oh Dave, you would not wear worn out ankle high Ugg boats with shorts in public would you? At least wear the calf high ones.
Did you open your present yet?

Jolea - tell Will to hang out at Paradise Village or the marina at La Cruz - look for the mega yachts (not that I know any of them) or better yet, look for any boat that says "Ventura" or "Channel Islands" on the back and chances are they know us. Or any catamaran...

I have 3 pairs of ugg boots. 2 worn out --1 ankle, other calf--, 1 new calf length. The worn out ones are by far the more comfy.

Since WP now knows there's something in the package for her, she's REALLY making me wait till Chrissy. Hmmmm, time to put the tree up, perhaps.

I'll get this year's race start plus the Sydney fireworks for you two, no worries. There is a website down here that gives live updates on the race if you are interested.
