Tues - 05-01-07 "Guavi" arrived in Costa Rica!

I received a nice surprise phone call about 7:15 am (California time) and the guys were about 10 miles away from "Cocos", Costa Rica! Again, I was amazed at where Ariel's cell phone gets reception (amazed, and happy!). They anchored in a nice bay in the Cocos area and called me again at lunchtime. Apparently today is a holiday in Costa Rica, so they could not go to shore to check in, and had to stay on the boat. So they changed the oil, did some boat projects and swam! Jim said the water is 83 degrees and is wonderful, clean and clear! Also that it is not as humid as it has been. I'm sure I will be hearing from them more later or tomorrow, so will try to get more details!
