Looking for a Catamaran Cruising Blog?

If you found this blog via a link from a cruising site ~ we did cruise Mexico on our Ocean 49 cat for a season. See the first text box on the right for links to our preparations, trip down Baja, life in Mexico, cruising and trip back up to SoCal. Unfortunately we are back to the grind in the USA...

Time for an Island Trip!

So again, still not much going on around here...
Time to go sailing motoring!
We are planning on heading North in the morning with stops at:
Isla Espiritu Santo and Isla Partida!and anchor anywhere - all the coves on the left side are great anchorages!

Isla San Francisco!Isla San Francisco is the small island on the right.
We anchor in the "hook" on the right side ~ a beautiful spot with a mile long white sand beach.
Isla San Jose is the larger island to the left ~ this time I'd like to dinghy into that large lagoon.

San Evaristo! On Baja's mainland across from Isla San Fransicso and Isla San Jose.
This double bay has a small town and salt drying flats.
Last time we were here was May of 2000 and the time before that May of 1998!

Nopolo!A beautiful GREEN spot on Baja's mainland, with a few small houses, trees and a small cemetary.

Los Gatos!Known for it's beautiful pink sandstone rocks and boulders.
Known for it's beautiful yellow cliffs back behind the desert floor.
Known for Manuel the clam and lobster fisherman!
Known for wonderful shelling.

Hopefully we make it to these places!
Will let you know upon our return...
