We Don't Have To Go To Them ~ They Come To Us!
Yep, we don't have to go trolling for dorado. They come to us. In the anchorage. While at anchor. Yep, casting from the boat, Jim caught this!
So he let me hold it...
What else do we have here while we wait for the perfect weather window?
Beautiful sunsets! And incredible warm water!Works for me. Better than being stuck in Cabo San Pucas Lucas!
I'm jealous, too.....I can't even see a sunset from where I am, what with buildings and trees in the way. And even our swimming pool isn't that warm and gorgeous.....not fair at all! Here's to the right weather and wind from the right direction and no storms at all for the next however long it takes for you to get home!!
Love the pics. Thats my kind of fishing. If you stop in SJ del Cabo look up Cap'n Mike from ex-Uhuru. Remember him? he lives there now. Anyway have a great trip up the outside. I looked at the weather and it looks yucky for a while. Miss you, Debbie
Ahoy Meerkat! We heard about you from Toast and thought we would take a look. You guys are sure having fun. Our fun started 12 days ago in our Singing Land Cruiser, We were inspired by our Dear Toast. No boat yet but, got and built a bus instead. Keep having fun and stay safe. We cruised Mexico's West Coast for 3 years on our prior boat, "Thistle" a Columbia 50. Went back to California in 2000 and bought the "new boat" in 2004. We then spent a year and a half cruising in Mexico. We just did the "Baja Bash" ~ sailed up the outside of Baja and returned to SoCal! We are We are now back to work for awhile...

You're making us all jealous... I've been dodging tornadoes all night. Can't wait to read about your coming adventure.
Wahoo - what a Dorado! Here fished across the Sea to San Carlos - nada. Jim must have the magic touch. Safe travels!
Great looking fish Jim. Don't think that's going to happen to often in the anchorage. Can't think of a better way to wait for the good weather.
