"See How Much We Can Cram In To The Car"
All of our stuff.
Dave and Kellie's stuff.
And the stuff we bought.
And the stuff Dave and Kellie bought.
Now we have Kellie in the car...And we just have to squeeze Dave into the car.
We did it!
The only one who had leg room was Jim the driver!
But we jigsaw puzzled the aft area so well that he had visibility out the back.
Crossed the border with the GREEN light - yipee!
Blasted South on the toll road, through Ensenada to Santo Tomas for breakfast at El Palomar.
Back on the road again and headed to San Quintin, where we ice'd and beer'ed up.
And out to The Old Mill Hotel on the bay.
Our favorite (and in our book - only) place to stay.
We had the two-room suite upstairs with the water view, however we arrived so early it wasn't quite ready for us.
So a walk and sit on the new boardwalk.Talked with the owner of the restaurant next door, who had closed for the month.
His best friend had been shot and killed by
He closed his business in honor of his friend...
Checked in to our suite and gave Dave and Kellie pick of the rooms.
Dave immediately set up the bar...
Had a little hora feliz out on our patio.
Kellie visited our shared head.
Yes, too much information,
I know...
But we like the "Old Western"
style head!
Then wandered over to Don Eddie's for a drink at the bar and dinner.
Dinner at El Jardin would have been better...
But we heard it is under new ownership and Jim would have had to drive.
Oh well...
Back to the room, where Jim promptly fell asleep!
So Dave, Kellie and I went and enjoyed the patio area by the fireplace.
Dave sprawled.
I squished Kellie...
Hung out on our patio for awhile, then to bed as we had another pack of miles to make on Day 397...

Well at least you are making the most of the trip and having a good time. I had to remember our road trip together, you had to use our shower because you always got the one that didn't work and I installed a great bar as soon as we checked in. What really fun memories! Ah, the basketball game in the town square! Keep having adventures as some of us have to work!
Suzie and Kirby
That looked like fun, I can't wait to go to Mexico to see Jolea, we'll have to scoot over to visit you in La Paz.
Suz - I had to shower in your room twice, because we always got the room without hot water. When Dave was setting that bar up, I told him about the one you two set up in that town near Tequila. It was more like an alcohol shrine than a bar... I think I have a picture of that. And the dead squirrel or whatever in that store window... Yeah, and your team won the basketball game.
Jomamma - I am sure Jolea's big mega yacht will pull in to La Paz sooner or later. I'll be sure to have our version of the Mexican Olympics all set up by then.
Love the bar!!!!
