Ready?
Set?
Go!
We have provisioned.
We have stowed it all.
We have done laundry.
We have vacuumed.
We have cleaned.
We still need to get fuel, but that is on the schedule for tomorrow.
We still need to settle up with the marina, but that too is on the schedule for tomorrow.
What else?
Wash the boat one more time.
Clean the floor one more time.
Wash the clothes we wore today.
A few more emails.
Take the trash up.
And that is about it!
We will be heading to Muertos Tuesday morning.
Will meet up with "Capricorn Cat" there.
Then to San Jose del Cabo.
Microbrew beers for Jim!
Then wait for the weather window.

Is that the 1000 mile beat to weather you were mentioning? How well do the Big Cats sail upwind?
Yes it is...
We will see!
AAAAGGHHHHHhhhhhhh......
This boat actually does pretty darn good - do a google search on Island Catamaran or Ocean Catamaran 49' and there is a photo of the boat going to weather at 17 kts. I am sure however when that photo was taken, they didn't have 27 12-packs of beer on board...
Or a washer/dryer.
And a bunch of wine.
And food?
Did I mention we have a ton of food on board?
I can't believe ya'll are heading home.
I personally am very excited that you are coming home!! We missed you guys lots!! Be safe on your way.
Hope all goes well and the Sea Gods are good to Meerkat! Hasta Luego!
Have a safe trip north and hope you have good weather. You know you will get some bad stuff somewhere along the way but hope it starts out good.
