Looking for a Catamaran Cruising Blog?

If you found this blog via a link from a cruising site ~ we did cruise Mexico on our Ocean 49 cat for a season. See the first text box on the right for links to our preparations, trip down Baja, life in Mexico, cruising and trip back up to SoCal. Unfortunately we are back to the grind in the USA...

"Guavi" heading down Baja

As of noon Wednesday, 03-21-07, "Guavi" was off of San Quintin heading for Turtle Bay. They hope to be in Turtle Bay by dark tomorrow. Jim said the wind was starting to pick up and it was lumpy, but tolerable. The weather is beautiful here in Ventura now, with the storm having passed. Hopefully this nice, calm weather catches up to "the boys"!
They also broke an engine motor mount. Stan was able to fix it temporarily (always travel with a blacksmith), with the real repairs to be made in Cabo. Jim mentioned Ivan was either to get the parts to them in Cabo or he would arrange to have them there for them.
With Michele having left them in San Diego, I was wondering if they were eating... Ariel made them burritos for lunch, so they must be!
I obviously cannot get photos of them where they are, but I can post one of San Quintin Bay looking out where they were earlier today!
