Hauling Out on a Rail ~ A First For Us

But even before pics of the haulout, how about some good news?
The updated forecast shows Hurricane Norbert hitting the Magdalena Bay area as a category 1, which is to the North West of us.
Not good news for Mag Bay, but certainly good news for us!Good, get me out of the boatyard!
Today!
We were both eaten alive last night...

And now on to girls jumping on trampolines pics of hauling out on a rail!
This is the seawall with dinghy fenders and the rusty pier we were to aim for.The famous Abel in his famous water jeans and the rail we going to be hauled on.









Here we go with lots of help in the water.The contraption that pulls us out.Looks a little different than a travel-lift doesn't it?
