Acclimated At Last
Well I think we have finally acclimated to the hot La Paz summer! Because it is pretty much now winter ~ or so we think...It's pretty sad to have to make a cappuccino when it gets to 76 degrees inside the boat...
But winter does make for incredible sunsets in Mexico! Here is another one for you who have building blocked sunsets or no ocean to look out over.
Hmmmmmmm... Jim worked til about 10 pm last night so it was a solo sunset for me. Tonight, maybe some cajun chicken with red beans and rice and a glass of Antares Merlot. Yup, that's what I am going to do. Oh, and look over at "Slojolea".
I just can't stop clicking those 'reaction' boxes. You have me hooked like I was once hooked on Tetris. Arghhhhhhhhhhh! p.s Lovely lovely sunset
Your food sounds divine. Blog some pics of what you eat and I'll stop clicking on the reaction boxes hundreds of times a day. Deal? You don't have to answer that. It was roartorical.
Ha ha - Yeah Suzie put those reaction boxes on our group blog and I clicked away like a madwoman. Notice I did not include a box for "boring" or "lame" or "who cares"... Thought about it however.
We cruised Mexico's West Coast for 3 years on our prior boat, "Thistle" a Columbia 50. Went back to California in 2000 and bought the "new boat" in 2004. We then spent a year and a half cruising in Mexico. We just did the "Baja Bash" ~ sailed up the outside of Baja and returned to SoCal! We are We are now back to work for awhile...
A thought we say to ourselves everyday:
"You'll only regret the things you didn't do".
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." ~ Mark Twain
"Life is either a daring adventure or Nothing." ~ Helen Keller
"A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for." ~ John A. Shedd
"Make it happen." ~ Alan Burg of the sailing vessel Toshal
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the places and moments that take our breath away." ~ Anonymous
