All we want to do is bake and cook.
Last night we enjoyed Mexican pizza ~ salsa, white cheddar and jalapenos on focaccia bread ~ recipe for the bread courtesy of "Sweet Lorraine" who has "Adios" Jayne's recipe on her website.
Yum!
This morning it was jalapeno cheddar bread. We haven't cut into that yet.
And Jim has taken over the galley this afternoon, creating Tommy's Chili, from Tommy's World Famous Hamburgers.
That should be interesting!
And a book for anyone who has ever spent some time in Mexico!
Anyone who has spent time in and around Puerto Vallarta!
Or anyone even considering moving to Mexico or building a house here.
"Gringos in Paradise" by Barry Golson I am only half way through it, but am loving every single word!
It's the story of Barry and his wife's move to Sayulita ~ a small town North of Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay ~ their adjustment to Mexico and the building of their house.
So far I have recognized one name from our PV days!
The book is well written, the couple is very likeable, they inter-act with the locals ~ all the good things about a book about Mexico

sounds like my kind of read.... Jap 'n cheddar... mmmmm. Do you have a crock pot? I have a easy BBQ recipe.
Maybe you guys should write a book about your travels. I know that I would read it.
Yes, we do have a crockpot! Would love your recipe.
Well, Jen this blog pretty much covers it at this point... and thanks for being one that would read it. You are my niece, you would have to read it. ;)
Jalepino bread. Yum. I loved it. It grew on me. And then I loved it. Smeared in butter. Sigh. I can't believe I lived on a boat and cooked delicious meals on it and enjoyed jalepino bread and tequila and sigh..
I want that crock pot recipe, jomamma!
