Mmmmmmmmmmm.....
Enjoyed this last of the decent white wines over the last 3 or 4 days. Thanks Rick and Karen of "Eyes of The World"!
And I made this really good oat wheat bread.
It's pretty much gone.
We moved into a new slip (slip #7 for us since April).
Alllll the way at the end of A Dock (quite the hike to the head, trash and book exchange, but hey it's exercise!) with a lovely view.
We can now see sunsets again!
Today we had these beautiful clouds.
I just love clouds now.
I could have them everyday.
I love them. The cool us off.
They provide shade.
Did I tell you that I love them?
And the first of the Baja Ha-Ha boats arrived in La Paz!
They smartly by-passed Cabo...
And are now parked off our stern.I let them use our skype to call home and borrow our dock key.
Turns out he bought the boat from Ventura - I recognized it, even with a different name, from C Dock in Ventura West!
There is that small world of mine again...
And big excitment, the giant Maltese Falcon has come into the bay for a second time!
Keep in mind they are miles away from us...
They are the boat with the 3 really tall masts. They came in when we were doing the Jim Fest 2008 Road Trip, so we missed them the first time.

I love the Maltese Falcon.
Did you see the pics of that yacht hitting it up in San Fran bay last month. Idiots. They refused to change course.
I thought the Maltese Falcon was a book...........
You and Jolea.... boat spotters... "I saw that boat here and this boat there, and that one docks here but he was there when I saw him." Great hobby... they all look the same to me, unfortunately.
Ahh, the first of the Ha Ha's...we always enjoyed this time of the season. We loved seeing the changing of the guard...all of those fresh bright eyed, on a trip of a lifetime, over prepared, under prepared, kept the land of the left, happy happy folks! They inject energy and brightness into the community. We loved newbies!!
Haha! I was just going to ask you if you saw the video of the little sailboat hitting the MF. I personally think the owners of the little sail boat were trying to get rid of their boat for insurance purposes. seen it all before...
p.s. what are Baja ha ha's?
Yep, saw pics of it in Latitude 38.
The Baja Ha Ha is a rally of boats sailing down the outside of Baja from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas. The owners of Latitude 38 magazine are involved in it. Something like 130 boats this year, which is kinda scary, but fun to watch them start showing up all over the place. It's NEW BLOOD - people to talk to! And after this ghost town summer here, I am loving seeing new boats come in.
And Jomamma, you know this boat when you see it - nothing else quite like it in the world. Google it - it's incredible! And already gone.
