Split Hair Personality
Or as an alternate post title: "Why My Hair is Always in Knots" Ringlets. Ringlets underneath the straighter outer hair. It's like having two different people's hair on my head. Like split hair personality. Better than having regular split personality...
Shit, you should have seen mine when I was living in St. Thomas, It got so curly and dried out from the salt and sun that it started to become dreadlocks! It's so hard to have long hair on a boat. I found a good leave in conditioner that seemed to help but I had to put it in my hair every time I got out of the water or it was useless... oh the troubles we have... haha!
We cruised Mexico's West Coast for 3 years on our prior boat, "Thistle" a Columbia 50. Went back to California in 2000 and bought the "new boat" in 2004. We then spent a year and a half cruising in Mexico. We just did the "Baja Bash" ~ sailed up the outside of Baja and returned to SoCal! We are We are now back to work for awhile...
A thought we say to ourselves everyday:
"You'll only regret the things you didn't do".
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." ~ Mark Twain

"A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for." ~ John A. Shedd
"Make it happen." ~ Alan Burg of the sailing vessel Toshal
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the places and moments that take our breath away." ~ Anonymous

Whine, whine... at least your hair doesn't become so flat people think you have as stocking over your head holding it down.
Well, I believe Eeepers has the same problem...
Or it could be that she just brushes the top layer of her monstrous hair. LOL.
Hmmm, must be all the salt water and clean living...
My hair does the same thing underneath!! But when I cut it it stops some of it.
