We left La Paz on Friday and motorsailed to Muertos for one night.
Left Muertos on Saturday morning and got into The Old Harbor 25 hours later.
It was absolutely the smoothest, easiest crossing ever!
We took a bus yesterday up to Marina Mazatlan where we found Don & Lenna of "Grand Wazoo", formerly of "Windward Luv"!
Surprised them!
Last night was a war story night in The Old Harbor with two boats dragging ~ one with an unfurled headsail and the other hitting another boat.
Ick.
Jim did an anchor watch after that, then Alan did one...
So today we slopped up to Marina Mazatlan and are side-tied to a dock.
Ahhhh - internet.
Loads of water.
Electricity.
No boats to drag into us.
No worrying about us dragging.
Friends!
Wally and Linda with dog, Angel of "Andanzas", formerly of G Dock!
Slow internet, so will post pics and details mas tarde.
So Glad I Went to the Doctor!

Tell Don and Lenna Hi from the Makais!

Too funny Eric! We were just talking about you the other day with Alan and Susan of "Toshal" who are on our boat! They were saying, "Remember that dog, Teak who was obsessed with water?" Your ears must have been burning :)
That is funny. I sat next to Alan at the last NB mooring association meeting. I have a 50 foot mooring in NB, remember that next time you head to Norte :) We were talking boats and cabins (Angelus Oaks and Big Bear). On December 27, we picked up a 7 week old Golden Retriever Pup, Topaz!

That is really funny! Alan says "oops"... Where is your mooring? Alan & Susan's is C22. And we might just take you up on that, because we are planning on bashing back up cause it's too bloody hot here in the summer. Would be REALLY great to see you and meet the kids! Meet the puppy too :)
We are on A211. A friend's tri is on there right now, but you never know. We'll keep in touch and visit when you head north.
