Looking for a Catamaran Cruising Blog?

If you found this blog via a link from a cruising site ~ we did cruise Mexico on our Ocean 49 cat for a season. See the first text box on the right for links to our preparations, trip down Baja, life in Mexico, cruising and trip back up to SoCal. Unfortunately we are back to the grind in the USA...

A Little More on La Paz!

A lot of people are interested in what we are (will be) doing down in La Paz! I have a link to the company I will be working with - over to the right "Mortgages Available in Mexico". And Cliff, who is a friend of John's (my brother-in-law) has a lot of pictures of La Paz - his link is also over to the right. He also has "Google Earth" shots of La Paz and some of the lots available. Both links have great info on buying property in Mexico!

Here is the "only hill" by La Torquesa - my brother in law has lots available on the hill. This is when I was standing below the hill and facing Isla Cerralvo and the Cerralvo Channel. We took our old boat, "Thistle" through this channel three times! This is also one of the top fishing areas around!

The cactus is nice, but I'm sure the view would be great from the hill!
Imagine being above the cactus...
I didn't do much exploring due to the shoes I had on...

But the beach at La Torquesa... kind of crowded isn't it?

So happy for you and so excited to watch your adventure begin! We miss Mexico but it is nice here in SC and they speak english - with a little drawl! Have a couple of brews for us with your feet in the sand, OK? At your suggestion we are playing the lottery because we can't win if we don't play - see you there!

Chris - I added your link to our blog. Check your mail for an invite to our going away bash. You are welcome anytime!

K & S - When our nephew first moved to NC he thought that drawl WAS another language...
Win that lottery! You too are welcome anytime!
