Looking for a Catamaran Cruising Blog?

If you found this blog via a link from a cruising site ~ we did cruise Mexico on our Ocean 49 cat for a season. See the first text box on the right for links to our preparations, trip down Baja, life in Mexico, cruising and trip back up to SoCal. Unfortunately we are back to the grind in the USA...

Saturday 03-22-08 San Jose del Cabo ~ "Puerto Los Cabos"

Up with the roosters...
The very confused roosters that don't know the difference between night and morning...Coffee, books, weather.

I made bacon and "eggs in a hole" (good use for Bimbo bread...)

David from "Avanti" let me use his computer as we were having trouble getting on the internet.
Yikes - only 835 spam emails and 167 regular emails...

Stan, Tim, Pam & I walked around the marina to check out the small village and the tiendas to see what fresh provisions we could find. Jim "traded" my computer time with David & helped him take "Avanti" over to the fuel dock and back.

The beach was clean and beautiful!
Loved the trashcans!

Getting warm, so time for a beer.
Introduced Pam to "micheladas" (beer with salt and lots of lime juice).Jim joined us for a beer.
Stan, Tim & Pam had some tacos and some of the best french fries!

To the tienda (store) for tortillas, eggs, limes, bananas, lettuce, salsa and beer!
Filled the beer cooler (buzzy, as it is known)!

Dinghied back to the boat and finally got internet!
YAHOO!
Emailed, blogged, emailed, read the news, checked family blogs and emailed again.
Quite the addiction...
Text chatted with Randy and Bob & Nancy.

Fajitas with our fresh tortillas and a taste of "Clase Azul"
A high dollar sipping tequila!

Cleaned up and off to bed!
