Looking for a Catamaran Cruising Blog?

If you found this blog via a link from a cruising site ~ we did cruise Mexico on our Ocean 49 cat for a season. See the first text box on the right for links to our preparations, trip down Baja, life in Mexico, cruising and trip back up to SoCal. Unfortunately we are back to the grind in the USA...

The Start of Life Back in La Paz

The weather has changed to summer weather ~ tropical... thunderheads over the mountains... and more humidity...
But nothing like Puerto Vallarta in the month of October!Today there is an 80% chance of rain in La Paz.
I would love it if it rained for an hour or two ~ then my car would be back to white instead of brown...
And I love tropical rain!
Maybe if I go have my car washed, then it would rain?

We took Mark, Emma and Rafa out to the La Torquesa property to look at lots.
Here is our little 4wd adventure out there...
John's truck could barely make some of the turns! And, yes we had to put our truck into 4wd to turn around on this narrow road!

The lots are on a hill overlooking the Cerralvo Channel, the beach and with incredible views!

The beach at La Torquesa!
Always beautiful and amazing...

Rafa, Emma and Mark ~ the water temp was perfect! Can't wait to go swimming - maybe today...
