Happy 40th Birthday Sue from "Maitairoa"!

My sister-in-law, Sarah has always said that you can tell the type of person someone is by the friends and people he surrounds himself with.

Well, Alex and Sue of "Maitairoa" are certainly nice, fun, cool and wonderful people and it was certainly apparent at Sue's birthday party last night!

Alex planned a surprise party for her.
We were lucky enough to be invited!

He even blindfolded her so she had no idea where they were going.

And yes, she was surprised!

And walked in to burning cakes!




Complete with those candles that never blow out...



She was even surprised at the location ~ the not yet opened new location of The Tres Virgenes Restaurant!
