First ~ yes, the wine glass works!
Oh joy!
And yes, I think these glasses will survive just about anything this boat throws at them...
No pitchpoling allowed on this boat however.
Ever.
No burying the bows.
Ever.
No turtling.
Ever.
And with these strong glasses no more worrying about walking on broken glass in the cockpit (Wayne, John, Jim, me and whoever else broke one).
I can't remember...
I know there was a Scotch glass broken in Ensenada, but Tim and Pam bought us some lovely La Paz replacements for those.
And the winter sunsets continue!Sorry the same two boats are always in the picture...

My 12 oz glasses are just like those! I love them, I even have a huge tea pitcher to match. Now I will have to have wine glasses like yours.
We could see the same sunset.
I will buy you these wine glasses if you bring the wine. HERE, you must bring the wine (and coffee beans) HERE.
They were less than $3.30 US! I waited til the peso devalued...
I'll start planing for this summer... I'll bring a big suitcase holding, one sun dress, some wrap around pants, two swimsuits and 3 sarongs, oh and my birkenstocks. The rest will be filled with all your stuff, coffee, wine, chocolate... what else? What did I do with that list?
I got some fantastic Spanish wine tonite... Abad Dom Bueno. Fantastico!
Really! We had the same sunset! I took a picture. Will upload it soon...:)
so... found a flight for $475 from Dallas to La Paz round trip! Pretty good huh? I think I may send mom on down to pick up those wine glasses... lol!
I think they will end up being some really expensive wine glasses! But, hey I would be getting french roast coffee beans, wine and whatever else is on the list and if you came with her, you could say hi to your pals on "Slojolea"!
I don't think of them as expensive wine glasses. I think of them as trappings of the adventure. Like all the good stuff I drug home from USVI.
Nice sunset shots!
Ummmmm, I've done two of your three no-nos... We used plastic wine glasses on board...
Alaskan Dave - what is your other no-no?
Actually we have plastic glasses too... there is a time and place for them, such as if a lot of people are on the boat or if Wayne is here.
Never pitch-poled. Thankfully...
So Alaskan Dave, did you bury the bows or turtle? My friend flipped a reasonably sized catamaran when racing. Ick.
