Uh oh!This is not what you want to see when you pull your anchor up.
Yep, you get a free anchor, but you were pretty lucky your anchor held in the first place.
It was smelly too...
By the way, this was not us.
Our anchor just hangs out up on the bow.
In the sunshine.
It hasn't touched the water in a loooong time.
Soon.
Very soon.

Oh I remember those anchor drills well! Reminds me of Tenacatita and Bara. Scary but wonderful memories.
Reminds me of Mazatlan, we pulled up a fish net...a really big one.
By the way, I agree with anchor drills in Tenacatita and Barra, but I didn't post that. I suspect Suzie did, but I can't figure out how. I don't recall giving out my password. ??????
Mystery solved!!! Rayme did it!
It didn't occur to me that he did it because the time stamp said 2:34PM and we were not home at that time. After much thought, I now realize that the time stamp is for the time zone of the originator of the blog, which in this case is Pacific. Another mystery solved.
Are we going to have to separate you two?
;)
So when you pull up something like that does it become yours? Finder's keeper's? Did you see your coffee on my blog?
Yep, it's all your's. If you want it or not...
I DID ! !
Thank you - but is looks strangly like a Christmas tree ornament, not the kind to drink... ha ha! I loved it, just didn't have the time to comment, but will now!
At least the Bruce(tm) anchor was used instead of that old plow. Bruce's will hold in anything and any weather.
We love our 88 lb Delta. I pat it when I walk by the bow and thank it all the time.
