Looking for a Catamaran Cruising Blog?

If you found this blog via a link from a cruising site ~ we did cruise Mexico on our Ocean 49 cat for a season. See the first text box on the right for links to our preparations, trip down Baja, life in Mexico, cruising and trip back up to SoCal. Unfortunately we are back to the grind in the USA...

The Weekend

Ah yay, finally Friday!
Laugh that my 15 year old niece cut me (and the rest of the reptiles relatives) off of spacefacebook.
Ponder that for awhile and think she has poor timing.
Duh? Right before Christmas? Guess I will not order that Maserati I was going to get her for her 16th birthday.
Dinner.

I guess you must have gotten all the rain that we were promised but never saw. I hate living in a desert.

You could move back here.

At least you don't have to worry about rinsing the laundry :)

That was pretty silly timing re the facebook thingy, but what do you expect from a 15 yr old?

That's a lot of rain!

I am getting just a little tired of the rain myself. I think it has been a really wet winter and I am through! NO MORE. Stop the rain!

Nothing quite like walking back down the dock with a large bag of clean (dry) laundry and it is raining on you. Not a fun memory!

Throw in a few fogs and some knittings and your weekend was just like mine.

Well the good thing is that I have a washer / dryer combo on the boat, so no walking down the dock with a load of laundry... but I do hang some things in the cockpit to dry and the bimini was leaking a little, so a couple things never dried...
But Suzie - getting it wet with rain water is better than dumping it in the surf on Valentine's Day in Tenacatita!
