Looking for a Catamaran Cruising Blog?

If you found this blog via a link from a cruising site ~ we did cruise Mexico on our Ocean 49 cat for a season. See the first text box on the right for links to our preparations, trip down Baja, life in Mexico, cruising and trip back up to SoCal. Unfortunately we are back to the grind in the USA...

After Eye Walkabout Costa Baja

After a round of Apples to Apples and two entire games of Chicken Foot Dominoes it was time to take a walk around Costa Baja.
We had a nice hurricane tie up spot in the inner harbor.Like I said before, the outer harbor was U G L Y !
The boats were rocking and rolling and slamming and lurching.
Unfortunately pictures just don't show it...Unless you are one of the owners of one of these boats.
Then you are happy the pictures don't show it.
We did learn that hurricanes make for great sunsets. That is after the eye is on the other side of you...
We still had some wind, but nothing like earlier.

Back to the boat for a nice dinner, a little vino and relaxing.
Celebrating too!
The four of us were all SO happy to have Norbie gone!

The sunset/sunrise[sorry forgot-doh] pics are amazing.
I remember the beautiful colours when we were in the eye. So much orange in the air you could almost chomp on it. I wish I had taken more pics but my battery ran out. Dohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Only have a few pics of Jack on deck looking like Noah braving a storm.
