Can't Recognize Our Dinghy!
We finally got around to having a dinghy cover made for gooey kablooey. This was not a project I wanted to attempt... Inside window coverings, yes. Sunshades, yes. Pillows, yes. Dinghy cover, no.And since Lucy sold her machine and lives far far and away in Texas, we had Danny of "Pacific Threads" make it. Good price and quick service. Hmmmmmm... now to remember we have a gray dinghy instead of a white one...
where are you guys hauling out? Abaroa? There is a guy who's still on the ball at the vertual marina. He does some nice canvas work also. Cheep has in nice. Cant remmber his boats name. Friday night and all.
Hey, that dinghy cover looks pretty darn good. Glad you were able to get that done. It will really save your dinghy. Sure wish we could have been the ones to do it for you, but....
It's not a "Lucy" cover, but he did a good job! Hauling at Berkovich's on Monday... Oh yipee. Abaroa was mas dinero. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for no rain, so we can get out and in quickly.
We cruised Mexico's West Coast for 3 years on our prior boat, "Thistle" a Columbia 50. Went back to California in 2000 and bought the "new boat" in 2004. We then spent a year and a half cruising in Mexico. We just did the "Baja Bash" ~ sailed up the outside of Baja and returned to SoCal! We are We are now back to work for awhile...
A thought we say to ourselves everyday:
"You'll only regret the things you didn't do".
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." ~ Mark Twain

I loved my dinghy, and mucking around in it, as much as I loved margaritas after a long, hard day of cursing the outboard.
;)
That's really cool, it's so spiffy looking.

I won't make any jokes about dinghy covers and condoms. I promise!
Alaska Dave: LOL
We have made quite a few dinghy condoms over the years. We used to make the same joke.
