Looking for a Catamaran Cruising Blog?

If you found this blog via a link from a cruising site ~ we did cruise Mexico on our Ocean 49 cat for a season. See the first text box on the right for links to our preparations, trip down Baja, life in Mexico, cruising and trip back up to SoCal. Unfortunately we are back to the grind in the USA...

Saturday Evening on "Zaza" and Sunday Morning Jim-Less Meal for Me

Last night we joined Greg and Zaza of "Zaza" for some incredible snacks:
Fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, stuffed olives, gourmet bread, proschutto and some nice wine.
We waited until the heat of the day was past and made an evening of it.
Caught up with them and talked until kind of late...

This morning Jim went with John out to do some lot measuring, so I stayed on the boat and did some towel washing.
And visiting...
We have finally met the new owners of "Capricorn Cat", Wayne and Carol and of course have tons to talk about ~ catamarans, sailing, catamarans, the pros and cons of each boat, catamarans, how we knew the boat and our old times on it way back, catamarans, blah, blah, blah.
So each time we talk to them, it may be a "hey let's talk to Wayne and Carol for a few minutes" and it turns into an hour of yakking...
I had told them the other day how some of the cruisers were calling the catamaran group the "Cat Clique" and they told me how the "Cat Clique" were referring to themselves as the "Litter Box"...
I like it!

And then I made a Jim-less early lunch for me.
Red bell peppers, thinly sliced carrots, thinly sliced cucumbers and a little Manchego cheese with balsamic vinegar ~ YUM!Of course it looked a little more appetizing prior to the drizzle of balsamic vinegar...
