Looking for a Catamaran Cruising Blog?

If you found this blog via a link from a cruising site ~ we did cruise Mexico on our Ocean 49 cat for a season. See the first text box on the right for links to our preparations, trip down Baja, life in Mexico, cruising and trip back up to SoCal. Unfortunately we are back to the grind in the USA...

Another Post Without a Photo...

So today I had our two 5 gallon water bottles filled with drinking water and I had both bottles in our folding dock cart as I rolled down the ramp onto the dock.

Then the folding basket on top of the dock cart fell forward off of the cart and both water bottles go rolling down the ramp and one rolled right into the water...

So I say a few choice words as I save the one rolling bottle and then laugh really loud as I see my other bottle floating in the marina.

Now what do I do? I feel like a fool...

So I walk quickly down the dock to get our boathook and Jim to help me lift it out of the water, because I know that is going to be really hard to do.

By the time I get all the way down the dock (we of course are always at the end), explain to Jim, grab the boathook, walk back up the dock, one of my wonderful, kind neighbors had already rescued my floating bottle out of the water!

Amazing! Not sure how he lifted it out by himself, but THANK YOU!

Nice neighbors boaters and cruisers are :)

My home is only 1400 feet away from a 733 foot, 50,000 watt radio tower and another smaller radio tower next to it. In the past, I've had problems with my garage door opening with the remote. Now, my new computer is acting up. Sometimes when I start it up it just gets to the desktop and doesn't load anything. No matter what I click nothing loads or happens. I scanned it with 3 different anti-virus/spyware programs and nothing was found. The room its in has a window facing directly at the towers. I blocked the window with some stuff and the computer works normally so far. Could the electromagnetic radiation be affecting my pc? I've had problems with numerous other electronics and r/c toys in the past also.
