Looking for a Catamaran Cruising Blog?

If you found this blog via a link from a cruising site ~ we did cruise Mexico on our Ocean 49 cat for a season. See the first text box on the right for links to our preparations, trip down Baja, life in Mexico, cruising and trip back up to SoCal. Unfortunately we are back to the grind in the USA...

Rain at 9 pm - A Nice Change...

Amazing ~ the sound of raindrops on the deck at night.
Not one we hear often in La Paz.
Usually it is an afternoon thunderstorm.
It's cooling and nice.
Especially since both of our air conditioners have gone on vacation.

However, I cannot imagine the sounds the people in Western Cuba are hearing.
Thundering rain...
Winds stronger than any imagination could have ever prepared them for...

Here's the webpage to send to Geelizzie.... www.designsbyromi.com.

But tell her when she starts making shaw pins and picks I deserve one for free. And I'll take samples to the local yarn shop to help promote her goods. Our yarn shop in Plano is known world wide. The Woolie Ewe. A good point to know, people who knit usually have money to burn (I inherited my yarn if that tells you anything)and these people love to adorn their hand knits with odd bits of jewelry.

Yo.....here I am! Love reading about how you are and where you are; sounds hot and happy.
We're well and really in throes of getting ready for our cruising...went away for 8 days as mentioned, lovely; no wind so had to motor most of the way....only negative part....have to learn how to fish in ocean so can enjoy that protean...turkey dogs and canned tuna just don't make it! love ya, Lucy and Jim C.
