Looking for a Catamaran Cruising Blog?

If you found this blog via a link from a cruising site ~ we did cruise Mexico on our Ocean 49 cat for a season. See the first text box on the right for links to our preparations, trip down Baja, life in Mexico, cruising and trip back up to SoCal. Unfortunately we are back to the grind in the USA...

Fitting...

For ONCE one of these silly quizzes was right!
I do one of these oh every six months or so, and they always come out lame, stupid, not me, blah, blah, blah.
Like the dog one ~ I would not be a German Shepard or a pit bull even though my ex-boss called me that more than once, I would be a beagle (lazy, creative, wanting to travel and hating to be cooped up).

But YES if I absolutely had to, I could probably sing this song (not necessarily in public however).

Your Karaoke Theme Song is "Margaritaville"

You are a true party animal, but your style is mild and chill.
Kicking back with a few friends and a few drinks is all you need to be happy.
You certainly don't feel pressured to be a part of any party scene. In fact, you avoid trendier spots.
You've been known to kick loose anywhere and everywhere. All you need is a cooler.
You might also sing: "Gin and Juice," "Love Shack," and "Red Red Wine"
Stay away from people who sing: "Wind Beneath My Wings"

Except that back in high school college, my sister, Donna and I changed the words to:
Wasting away again in Sloe Gin Ville
Searching for my lost bottle of 7up
Some people claim that there is Matthew to blame
Because he is the one that sold it to us

And that's how I would probably sing it.
With the wrong lyrics.

LOL
Here's mine. Notice how we have both been warned to stay away from people who sing songs with the word 'wind' in them.

Your Karaoke Theme Song is "Baby Got Back"
You're a total show off who is willing to risk looking like a fool to get a few laughs.
In fact, you'll go for the cheap laugh if you need to... because it's better than no reaction!

Your friends can count on you to get a party started, and you'll party hard until you can't remember their names.
You're charismatic, charming, and a total character. With or without a few drinks in you.

You might also sing: "I Touch Myself," "Oops I Did it Again," or "My Humps"

Stay away from people who sing: "Candle in the Wind"

I did it and it said the same as Maria's!!!

But then I did the one about what your favorite candy says about you:

You are a smooth character. Your charm is legendary.
You're the type of person who could get away with almost anything.

People don't know much about you, except that you're complicated. You also tend to be flaky.
You can't be trusted to always follow through, but people still crave your company.

Hmmmm.

Ha ha - Jim got that same song you two got. We don't even know what that song is.
I think the rest of the description it came up with sounds good for overboard - willing to look like a fool to get a few laughs - i.e. taking a picture of you wearing a towel, cheap laughs, get a party started - all fun qualities! Not really for jomamma. And the candy description does not sound like jomamma either - flakey? Can't be trusted to follow through? Nah, you seem levelheaded and dependable. But I don't think either of you or Jim would ever sing "Oops I did it again" - uh isn't that a Britney Spears song? God help us...
The wind thing - I am a fair weather sailor in my old age!!!

I have the book that you wrote with all of the memories of my mom in it, and you mentioned that you changed the lyrics. But you didn't say what you changed them too.

What a hoot.
I'm gonna go write them in there. HAHAHA

That's just great Meghan. Can you not show that to your younger sisters until they are about oh 30 years old? Believe me, I edited what I put in that book. I kept the bad stuff we did out of there...
You, however are old enough for me to start sharing some of these things...
NOT!
HA HA HA!!!
