Looking for a Catamaran Cruising Blog?

If you found this blog via a link from a cruising site ~ we did cruise Mexico on our Ocean 49 cat for a season. See the first text box on the right for links to our preparations, trip down Baja, life in Mexico, cruising and trip back up to SoCal. Unfortunately we are back to the grind in the USA...

Cheated Death Again

Four Days, three nights.
Heaven.
Out of the marina.
Except extremely hot at night!
88 degree water.
Floated, swam, floated, forgot to put sunscreen on our backs, sunburnt, floated some more, then came back.
Anchored at El Candelero the first night, No Name Cove #7 the second night (all alone!!) and Ensenada Grande or our new name for this cove: Lake Havasu South due to all the big fat powerboats with giant tenders and illegal jet skis - you can't use jet skis at the island! Yipee! the last night.Pics and stories to follow...

Yay!
Bet you had a wonderful time.
Aye. A life on the ocean wave.
I like living at sea cos then I don't crave Baileys. I feel bad because I have just finished a bottle of Baileys that I bought at around 3pm yesterday and it's now, uh, 9.48am the next day.
So it didn't last long.
This means I need to start living on a boat again.

I gotta' agree with Maria- she needs to start living on a boat again... when the 1st Mate and I sailed up from Mazatlan to LaPaz last time we headed directly for these two islands. The 1st Mate had never been there and was totally enchanted with the turquoise water and friendly conditions. I miss it too.

That bottle of Bailey's wasn't really big enough to count. We'll give you that one.
